Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
thanks. checked it out, good stuff! my control arms are almost done, we are moving the ball joint locations and using scp spindles to help the front end geometry. steve at hot rods to hell in northern ca, is helping me with the suspension. he specializes in truck trailing arm suspensions.

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
I would love to have a pullmax but I'll have to make stuff with a oak stump and a (cheap) power hammer for now........can you tell me what brand of sander that is in the picture? I know it's not a Burr King but I have seen them before and now it's driving me crazy.... Please post pictures of your tooling and the filler panels!

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
bader space saver. stephen bader co. they are 25mi from me. they are a 3 generation family business. i refurbish them and re sell them all over the country. burr kings are in a different league. these are the cheyenne super of sanders. they weigh around 300lbs and the belts are 132" long and last forever. they help me with my own tool problem. i have 3 or 4 more left now i sell to buy my wheels!

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
sweet build! are those the Doug Thorley headers built for '67-'72 LSx conversions? I hope this doesn't come out wrong...... I only ask as they look like they are and if so, I'd think maybe they are a bit small for your powerplant? I would think with that much HP you'd need at least 1 3/4" primaries, or bigger?

got to work today. had to use the tools, to make the tools, to use in the other tool. if that makes any sense. made a filler panel for my old air products ac kit.

I'd say!
moving back another 3" looks like it would require some firewall work?

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
couple hours today. after fighting with the cab yesterday, i checked out my scrap pile and found enough steel drops from other jobs to build a cab cart and a lift bar. should make floor swapping easier. glen
