ok i fixed the starting problem

my points were melted away..
and my distributor was stabbd wrong and the spark plug wires were in some random order that made no sense

...kinda hard to time the truck right now because there is no timing mark on the pulley or the block.

I am surprised that it even started with all that messed up on the engine.
There should be a stamped mark on the pulley and a tab on the block. might be hard to see, usually had paint in the stamped mark but maybe yours is worn off.
