At this point you might want to pull the valve cover(s), pull the plugs and turn the engine over by hand and check that the valvetrain is all still as it should be.

Turned out to be my distributor. My bolt had worked its way loose some and the distributor advanced. Pretty sure i got it right again. thx for the help guys.
