Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
Still working on the frame. Got a lot of sanding to do. I hope to paint it in the next couple of weeks. I'm still waiting for my Coy's wheels. They should have been here a month ago. Now he say's Feb. 15. I'm about ready to give up on these and order something else.

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
Had a day off work yesterday because of the blizzard. Spent the day in the garage and got my frame primered. Today I got off early and got some of the pieces painted. Feels good to get some paint on something.

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
That looks good. is the main frame going to be the same color? Is that the same light blue that is on the body?

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
It was nice and warm in the garage while I was painting. Had it about 75. The rear end cover and the rest of the parts are the same color, they just look different in the light. I am going to paint the main frame black. Going to paint the body the same color as the suspension parts. I picked the color out of a book at the paint store. It's not the original color. It's called blue turquoise. Hope to get the frame painted tomorrow.

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
Cleaning the frame was no fun. I scaped it and used a wire wheel for most of it. Then sanded it the best I could. Got it painted today. Glad that job is done. Going to let it dry for awhile then start putting it together.

Re: Mike's 66 swb dropmember build
Got some of the parts back on the frame today. If my Coy's wheels aren't here by the 15th I'm going to go with something else. Been thinking about some Boss 338's but I don't know if the hub interference problems have been worked out. Also thinking about some painted steelie's with wide whites.
