Re: Nice looking wheels for a good price

Yeah i think i'm def going to go with these wheels i'll be ordering in a couple of weeks. I was thinking the polished versions but now i'm leaning towards the grey ones, don't feel like polishing wheels all the time.

I can't find any wheels on their site called "legend series". Is that the brand name?

Back 20x10 = 5.5" BS
Also curious about this. What BS have others here run with your wheels (18's and 20's)?

Those wheels are the chrome MB Old School wheels sold by discount tire direct. I like those wheels but they only come in 20x8.5 and i want to run a 20x10 in the rear.

Those look very nice. What backspacing are you running? Did you put spacers on the back or just get a different BS?

I just checked with coys, they stated that they only offer discounts if you catch them at a show and then it is usually only free shipping. Doesn't help me since i'm in Jersey and its the winter, so no shows for a couple of months.

Backspacing is perfect for a lowered 71-72. The rear would be better at 5" BS on a 67-70 'narrow' axle, but could work, Will be very tight on the inside at the wheel tubs.

Re: Nice looking wheels for a good price

Check out the the tire/wheel combo!!! They are Showwheels polished Streeters 20x8.5 front and 20x10 back. The tires are 245/35-20 front and 275/35-20 back. I love the way it turned out and these wheels are a killer deal. They bolted on with no modification.

Re: Nice looking wheels for a good price

They do look nice! I'm a fan of the large lip front and rear they have. I'd prefer a little more sidewall on the tire to fill out the wheel wells and improve ride quality, and wouldn't want the company name on the spoke, but they look great for the $$$$

I'm not sure. What is the width of each? I will measure and post which one. The fitment is spot on.

67-early 70 = 56" wide
Late 70-72 = 57.5" wide

Yours is a 67 cab on a 71 chassis, correct? That should be the wider axle. The narrow axles are the mid-70 and earlier, which are 3/4" shorter per side and originally 6-lug. Conversion axles are available aftermarket to make them 5-lug. There are wide 6-luggers too, but were 70 only and a bit rare...
