Re: Why we do what we do
I don't have kids...but I can add this. It's saving a piece of history, to me that's enough reason to do it.

Re: Why we do what we do
These are the moments in time that should be the most cherished. I was looking at some old pics of my kids last night and i was truly devastated at how fast they have grown up. I guess taking these kinds of moments with my kids for granted was my mistake. Without these little ones, a home just wouldn't be a home for me. Awesome pics guys!

Re: Why we do what we do
Mine doesn't help with the actual work, but she does give me styling tips and likes to pretend she is cruising when it's all done.

Re: Why we do what we do
The two older ones just want to ride around in it, but she has turned into daddy's little help. Always wanting to know when we can go work on "her truck" as she likes to call it.

Re: Why we do what we do
Ok, attached is day 1 for my GMC when my brother, son and I picked it up in Arkansas. He's 14 now and the truck is still not done, but we ride in it every weekend. His Lacrosse, Cross Country, etc. keep me busy on weekends instead of the GMC, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Re: Why we do what we do
I am in the "big brothers" program. I never had a son but I have been hanging out with my "little" since he was 6 years old. He'll be 13 in July! We have learned a lot from working on old trucks and built a lot of memories.

Re: Why we do what we do
Surprised my daughter by picking her up for a dinner date in the '64 for the first time. She was very excited to go cruising in dad's 'hot rod'. Makes all the hours and hard work completely worth it!

This is my grandson Alex... He's 4 so the attention span isn't the longest, but I'm starting him now...

Re: Why we do what we do
I'll contribute. The first photo is me sitting in my grandpa's 72' GMC circa 1981. So that would make me 3. The second pic is my youngest son helping on the Caprice.
