Re: My project crew cab

Some updates Picked up a small mig welder and starting the learning curve to weld, made my welding cart from a old pressure washer cart. This is the first time I have ever welded so don't be to hard on my welding, but with time I know I will get it even if it takes a while.

Thanks I'm real happy the way it cleaned up.

Picked up some new seats I could not pass them up. Came from a 2010 GM Truck.

Love your project, im also restoring a crew cab. Could you tell me more about what you had to do to the firewall for the A/C conversion. Also any gotchas that you can pass along.

Hey thanks man, I would like to see some pics of what your working on. As for the firewall I have my parts suburban that I cut out that part of the firewall out and welded it in.

I'm glad you decided to try welding. I have to ask my co-workers, or my crabby old pops whenever I need something welded.

Re: My project crew cab

Some updates, it's been slow but I am happy with the progress. I got the motor installed and running it sure sounds nice in there and the fuel tank mounted with new fuel lines.

Re: My project crew cab

Thanks for the comments guys. This weekend I have worked on the wiring, got the front end lights wired up and the interior lights working, had a few damaged wires to take care of. Also mounted my air intake box and working on mounting my batteries sideways so I had room for everything. Also ran new wires for all the rear lights.

Re: My project crew cab

I did the same on my CC. Got ride of the two tanks and went with one less problems, less parts to worry about.
