Re: faster then i was thinking..

Nice time. Sounds like you had traction issues in the vid. So how many runs did you make? Can you post a few timeslips? I would like to see your 60, 330 and 1/8 mile numbers.

Re: faster then i was thinking..

drag radials will get u in the 13's man!!
some nice 10 inch truck rallys...that would look killer at the track.
That too, its cool to see people's jaw drop at the track when they see how fast a truck is..lol

Re: faster then i was thinking..

I love my 10'' verter at the track, but for everyday i really liked the 12'' B&M 2200/2500 verter. It did pick up 3/10s with the 10'' but its a pain in the... You know

Lower gears can't do. I just put 3:42 in. Don't want to go lower I drive the hell out of this truck. But a good 2500 stall would be good for me. I raced with 28inch tall tires my street tires are 25inch tall but they don't hook up even know there at 315/35/17 tire

Re: faster then i was thinking..

congrats on the 13.99....did you play with the jetting and timing? also if your running a 28inch tire with those gears when it comes tire time go with a 26" should help out... dont know if you have a shift kit but if you do a converter that would be a good time for a shift kit.... keep up the good work...ill be watchng for up dates as you head for the 12s

yes they are 28inch tall (235/75/15) tires out back with 3:42 gears. it has a shift kit in it. just put it in when i did the motor swap. im got 25 inch tall tires that are normaly on the truck 17x10 with 315/35/17 i dont want to burn them up tho they are $$ and they dont hook worth a ****. but ill bring thos to the track one night and see if that helps or will it blow the tires off it
