Cab, hood, doors, passenger fender, radiator support all were in bad shape. The donor truck will speed things up. Someone attempted a shady repair in the cab in the past. The passenger side was bad. They used sound deadener and sealed it with silicon.. Painted over it with silver paint to hide it all.

I wish I could work on my truck in shorts in February lol, mine has been untouched for about three months, hibernating away.

I finally got all the suspension parts in.. I ordered all MOOG parts.

Ball joints, upper control arms, tie rod ends, center link, purchased a steering coupler Assembly etc... Already had a front suspension bushing suspension kit, cab and bed bushing kit, chassis bolt kit, new shocks, drop kit with springs, flip kit and spindles AND Leaf pack re-done.. The c-notch is in.. Now its a waiting game to get the chassis blasted and have marine grade primer/paint applied..

Suspension removed, had to order more parts. Front bed panel, passenger inner fender, Bed repair rear quarters. Now its time to order brakes and eaton unit for rear end..this stuff adds up

Still waiting on the frame to be blasted. That's giving me time to get other things. I was surprised with the ebay headers.

Well😁😁😁😁😁😁😁🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 7 years into this build and I have some new pictures of my progress. The budget is non existent at this point. I changed a few things. Ended up keeping the LS. 700R4 is done, 2800-3200convertor is tucked away, 4.10 posi-unit is installed. Axles turned to accept the Cadillac rear disc brake conversion. Suspension is complete, brakes being assembled, all new brake lines, new everything. Ended up going with slotted and drilled rotors😃😁 scrapped the full tubs for a more sleek sleeper look. Starting to look like something now

Rear C notched, all new custom leafpack, bell tech shocks front & back, all new red bushings, new bearings, new everything. New brake lines being bent soon
