I've got time to wait (and an NOS grile, too).

Re: 73-74 bowtie

The issue with the bowties are that they're nearly impossible to ship without damage....one small roll on a corner and they're toast

Not sure how practical this would be if you were selling alot of them, but you could put the bowtie in an envelope, then take two pieces of plywood (or metal, or plexiglass, whatever), slightly larger than the bowtie, tape it to the first piece, then lay the other piece over it, and screw/tape them together. Voila' no way to bend/fold them in shipping.

Sounds hack, but it would work.

they're embossed......so you'd risk flattening them a bit also. We've thought this through- the emblem is at it safest IN the grille

I was thinking cardboard with foam between, then sending it in a padded 'CD' envelope. There must be a way. I've ordered some metal valve cover decals before that actually came in a small box full of 'popcorn'.

LOL!

Nah, I found the perfect grill for my '50! The grill has been laying in a field for several years, gonna be perfect!

I did buy a "Top Banana" rocker panel for the '50, arrived quickly and fit like a glove!

I found this OEM NOS grill on Ebay and had to pay big time for it. It's about time someone is reproducing these grills.

WHOA, slow down there Yezzi! Don't think your going to just do a drive by post with that pic and not get some heat for it.

Where the heck is the rest of the pics? That truck is pure coolness and we want to see more.

Re: 73-74 bowtie

Yezzi, Did you buy that truck at a dealer there in north central Phoenix last fall? I talked to that dealer and sent my friend over to look at it but it was sold with a deposit when he got over there two days later. He looked it over real well and sent some photos anyway. That is one awesome truck and was all original and nice colors inside and out from what I saw. His asking price was a steal for that truck and so it made me gun shy to buy it without a set of eyes on it! It would have been relocated to Nebraska if you hadn't bought it. Beautiful truck you have there! I'm envious. More pictures please! Mark

Yes this was the one on Cave Creek Rd. I was after this truck for some time it only had 73k original miles on it and was untouched. I'll post some before pics of it when I bought it.

Ironically I have had a conversation with two totally different people about trucks recently that describe that truck perfectly. Super clean ride, with a nice stance. Man I love it!
