Re: Show me Blue n White C10s

Not sure if you’re looking for colors, but this 54 Chevy was painted 1971 Volkswagen Marina Blue. It looked a lot nicer in real life than in this old Polaroid photo:

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s

Why do some fleetside's have the trim down the side and some don't? Was that an option or did they all have it and some have removed it?

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s

Some weld their holes shut and choose not to use it. My right front fender on mine is new, so no holes were drilled in it when delivered. They left that for me to mess up!

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s

Heres the truck Im talking about.
Its not as rusty as it seems. Only holes are outter rockers. The rest is just surface rust where paint is MIA.

Other than fixin the rockers, its staying as-is..

except getting a 350/auto and getting bagged...

Loves me a worn-out beater truck!

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s

Looks like a cool project. Do you think it will be done before Goodguys? I'm taking mine this year and to the Blue Suede Cruise in Norwalk. There were a lot of nice 60-66s there last year.

I plan on being in columbus. We've been there for the last 11 years.
But funny thing is...Ive never had same car/truck there twice....

We'll let you know where we park. We always claim the same island, and many guys from here and the HAMB are parked very close by.

they were a option.you received the roof pillar trim, side trim along with a aluminum grill and a chrome front bumper.the inside received a fancy horn ring and several other goodies but we will wait for other members to add to the list that came with the custom.

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s

Funny this got bumped.

I posted this about 1 year ago. I ended up selling that c10, and have had 3-4 other C10s since...

My wife says its Automotive A.D.D

Sad thing is, this old beater in these pics is the one I wish I woulda kept. It was a haggered short fleet, but turned into a super fantastic driver.
My 15yr old and I swapped 72 C10 dr spindles, shocks, 3.08 posi 5-lug, adj trac etc. I was proud of how much my 15yr old did himself.
But some crazy older guy offered me dumbass money for it in Columbus at GGs.
