Re: Need help from the 60-66 Experts...

well after lookin at your other pics it it the right front section of the frame but like was being said this could be a bed swap or they spliced the frame together some ware. if it is not spliced them my next guess is 4x4 frame and someone put a 2 wheel cross member in it as its real easy to do. the one thing that caught my eye was the bed is not centered to the axle which tells me that the frame has to be spliced. 6 lug front can be swaped out easy enough.

the bolt centres on the inner bolts on a 62 rear bumper are 40". the bolt centres on a 63- should be about 32-34"

Hey carnal, can you measure the rear of the frame from outside to outside?
I'm trying to figure out what year frame I have, fleet or step too.

Re: Need help from the 60-66 Experts...

What bumper brackets do you have Red? They are different for 60-62 and 63-66. look at LMC and it shows they are different.

Do I order 60-62? Or is my frame originally a fleet? Which if that's the case, I beleive the brackets AND the bumpers are different.

the out side frame measurements on the 63-66 should be about 34" and the 60-62 is close to 40"!

Re: Need help from the 60-66 Experts...

I would say so. you have a 60-62 bed on your 63-66 frame. All you need is the right bed braces.
