hey, my Olds 88 was named Red Rocket...partly because of the old school Olds logo, partly because of that one south park episode...

MJN - parts are pretty hard to come by for the Rockwell, I wouldn't get rid of mine until it breaks, but I wouldn't go an buy or try to repair a Rockwell with a broken gear. NP205 time!

breeh... I just saw a shifter for the transfer case like you posted a pic of.. it was in a 70 GMC 3/4 sub 4x4 NP 205... it had no markings on the knob.... just a sticker on the glove box saying where the postions were.... its an odd one, bent over to almost behind your right leg. Rod

Jim's70GMC,

On your 70 with the NP 205, my son's 70 with NP 205 comes out to the left. As I understand it this is a 70's only setup. I think that it is pretty cool looking. I can post a pic if you like.
