New Blazer and Burb ambulance

I'm new to the forum, but I had to jump in on this one...
The 70's re-make of 'The Blob' has a brand new 71/72 Blazer running around.
Also late-night re-runs of Emergency, there's a 72 Burb ambulance.
I need to find The Car to see why I need yellow-amber window tint...

These arent movies but they do have our trucks. The first is Smallville the dad one of the duke boys drives a 70s mopar truck but their flat bed farm truck is a 72, and in the Audio Slave music video Cochise they roll in in a primed 71-71 long bed 4x4 with a mild lift. Just to give credit to the movie jeffbo mentioned "Catch me if you can" I love that movie found it at a supermarket rental rack love it sweet cars and lots of racing.

I think the coolest movie to see our trucks is in Dazed and Confused, the black 72 shortbed . It chases another car, i guess it has a posi-rear end cuz it lays long black marks. The chase scene is so awesome, the movie is hilarious too.

There was an episode of VIP where the bimbos were chasing someone in a 70 or 71 that they called a "white trash-mobile."

My other interest besides my Truck is movies so...

theres a few I can tell you all about...at least of movies that have not been mentioned yet...

Thunderheart- Val Kilmar drives a 67? Chev on stakeout...

Independance Day- a 71-72 Chev Will Smith rides in it and delivers alien to Area 51...

Footloose- love interests' ex-boyfriend drives a 71-72 GMC...

Tender Mercies- main character drives a 71-72 Chev...

Duel- opening credits show California highways a few trucks if you look closely (Steven Speilberg TV movie filmed in early 70's)

and in the Music vid department R.E.M's "Everybody Hurts" video there are I think 2 trucks and a GMC Suburban in the grid locked traffic...

Heres one that I bet Im the only one who noticed: Forrest Gump. Right after the old lady tells him how he can walk to Jenny's place, only a few blocks away, he jumps into the road, almost gets run over, jumps back, and then a silver 67-72 truck flies past for a fraction of a second. If you have the movie check it out.

If you want to talk obscure... in the movie X-Men when the gal who is to become Rogue meets Wolverene in the bar before she goes in it showes the parking lot of the bar and against the building is a 69-72 GMC... another board member and I were watching the move and I must say that he saw it before I did.

Also if you are just into cars, the greatest movie ever "Smokey and the Bandit" has a lot of great shots of the Trans Am and a lot of the Snowmans Kenworth.
