My bad. This is right. I was thinking of a 3" SPINDLE with a 2" drop spring. That'd get you the 5" of front drop you're wanting.

Why are you hesitant about cutting the current coils? 1-coil off get's you where you want to be & is a common method when lowering. As far as drop coils go, the springs are the same OD as the 1/2 ton trucks but have a higher rate. The problem w/most aftermarket drop springs is they don't provide the spring rate info. They just market them as 1, 2, or 3" 'drop'.
every set of springs that I cut always end up sagging on me..I dont like that.. its cool but then you start having a lean..and drives me crazy.. 1 cut coil max is what I always do..

These guys are supposed to be pretty knowledgeable and provide great product support. Heard about them on DuallyScene. Descriptions seem to be more in-depth as well. This is the kit I plan to go with. 5/7.

I'm confused at Western Chassis 6/8 drop kit. what are you getting? Spindles coils for the front I understand but what about the rear just a flip kit? No shocks? I fail to see how this cost almost a grand! Only thing that is needed is the front with maybe $80 in flipping and c notching the frame.
