If everything works out ok (knock on wood), I will be there Friday. It makes for a full day but it is worth it to see all the stuff and try to score some early deals. The weather is not suppose to be good around here Saturday and Sunday but hopefully it won't be bad for y'all in Charlotte.

Thumbs up

Went to the Charlotte AutoFair this afternoon. Got to meet a bunch of the board members. Took a picture with some late in the afternoon. Will get it posted later on. Non-digital stuff . . . you know, sort of like our trucks, my camera is an SLR. That translates to OLD, Vintage, Classic . . . yadda, yadda, yadda.

Amyway, the guys were great. Won't mention any names for fear of leaving someone out. And sure as I do that, they will remember me, and get real mad. I'm easy to remember since I had the next generation of truck owners with me, my grandson.

A thought to ponder . . . how about some sort of official "Right Coast" meeting of the Members of the Board at the September Charlotte AutoFair. Couple of you overnighters, circle the wagons for a decent space. As a Local Yokel, I would volunteer to mosey up to the space and fire up the grills or whatever, and have a couple gallons of Ice Tea and some good eats ready after all the Parts Persons get closed up in the infield. Then we all sit around eating and swapping long(bed)truck stories until its time to go to church Sunday morning. Again, just a thought.

Joe
