you can stain your own wood easy enough i am not an expert but i think it has to do with throwing the blue dust (from sanding your paint) on the wood while sanding but like i said not an expert but i am sure someone will read this and know better and if not there is always google right?

I think mahogany or walnut would have a super high end look. Another awesome looking wood is the white oak...if you can get it quarter sawn...has a really cool look when done that way....

I decided to go this route to. I will be putting the ghost blue pearl in the urethane to make it have a blue-ish haze to match my truck......we'll see what happens.
