Until visiting this site, i'd never heard of a V6 in these trucks. So they must not have been available in Canada. Interesting.

I don't know how accurate the manuals are. For example my 67 GMC owners manual does not list any V8's available. It only lists 250, 292 I6's, and 305 and 351 V6's. I do believe V8's were offered though in 67 GMC's; Perhaps later in the production year.

I think you;re right about it not being canadian though since the SPID I posted on this page of the 351V6 truck looks the same and it was from Kansas.

It is nicely optioned but theres some rust and bondo under the paint. I bought as a parts truck for my 67 4x4 but will probably just drive it for a year until I tear them both apart. It probably had a chrome grille originally.

That truck looks too good for parts. Looks very restorable. A V-6 in a '67 or '68 seems to be more rare as well.

Cab rockers, mounts need work and there is bondo in the front clip. I just bought a rebuild kit for the WWC stromberg it has on it so that I can get it running better and experience the V6. I will probably license it until I tear into my 67 4x4 and use this truck for parts. I need the engine for my 4x4.

Re: Stumbled across a 67 GMC, interesting SPID

I believe the wheels on that truck are fairly desirable. I can't find the thread that talks about them, but the 4x4 guys love them, they are much thicker metal than the regular wagon wheels. The are aftermarket. As I recall Special K was the one with the knowledge on them. I think the name of them had something to do with snakes??? Not positive though.
