I keep an extra module in the glove box, even though GM built millions of the distributors, and they run fine for years... I cant keep one alive for more than 6 months!

Turned out I am an idiot... The dizzy wasn't down all the way so it wasn't hitting the oil pump...ugh. Ran it about 4-5 mins with no oil in the top end.

drove it around today when i got it fixed and it sounds fine...hope I didn't hurt anything.

on the bright side, i got my amp guage workin

i don't really trust the accel or msd street fire crap. had too many problems with accel and the streetfire stuff. the other msd stuff i like. but then again i haven't trusted that stuff since i had a cap, rotor, wire and plug kit from accel and a streetfire coil on my 94 with a 4.3. the cap and rotor fit poorly, the plugs weren't hot enough, and the new msd street fire coil died within 8 months or so. and i chased my tail replacing everything but the coil until december 09/january 10.
