its going to take a lot of wet sanding depending on how thick the primer is. If your ready for the task find a place on the truck and do a small test patch with different grits of sand paper and see what it takes to get to the color underneath without sanding into it or burning through it. U may not like what you see underneath could be bondo or something else scary
I know a paint store near me sells something that takes off rattle can paint. I'm gonna try tomorrow. I will let everyone know.
