As far as it being a good fender, I want to cut the front piece off to repair my fender, I am tryong to eliminate the spare tire cutout. I will be cutting and welding to my fender.

On top where it is all rusty, is it rusted all the way through, or is there enough metal to work with for welding, I understand that it's not perfect, I am just trying to work my fender into shape.

Most of what you see is not rust. It is a bunch of moss from sitting under a tree for a long time. The only rust through is at the mounting lip at the bed sides.

Its $160 with fedex for the shipping. Greyhound will be around $88 for a total of $138 if you want to pick it up at the bus station.
