Its beat up pretty good after looking closely at the outside frame. Looks like I will get
$.60 per pound for this thing.

Re: Parting 72/67/81 SWB 4X4

im not crazy on the shipping of the front shaft i am measuring tomorrow and would you consider zipping around a high hump trans tunnel and sending me the bolt reinforcement on the cab portion . what i need are the bolt reinforcements that are on the surround of the trans tunel for high hump . kind of like the reinforcements on an oil pan corner . i need the perimeter of the hle and i will separate if need be . asking

Re: Parting 72/67/81 SWB 4X4

Do you need the perimeter in one piece or is that something that I can cut up in pieces and put in a small flat rate box?

Re: Parting 72/67/81 SWB 4X4

no need for one piece - the support all around the perimeter is required and it is where the nut cages if you want to call it that - i do nee the perimeter 2" all around is what im after and then i will separate the support of the nut which i suspect is just spot welded on . and yes it can be in strips or sections just as long as i can drill out and reinstal on my floor and look stock . thanks

Thanks Ray. I'll paypal you for the exhaust in a few minutes. Let me know what your schedule is like for pickup. I am off this week, but the weekend isn't much good for me. I might even be interested in the slider since nobody wants to buy my 67. Frank

Re: Parting 72/67/81 SWB 4X4

Is the rear end posi like the label says? Is it for a 72 or the later frame mentioned. Do you know the gears? Thanks

Re: Parting 72/67/81 SWB 4X4

I'm guessing its a posi, but when I looked, the spring pads are spaced for the square body frame. The front diff looks to have an air locker. I will have to do the math on the gears.

That is an incredible deal if it is in there. I better stick with just the exhaust though.

I will cut the tunnel, but do you need it in one piece to weld onto a 2wd tunnel?
