Did you read any of the responses I made? The same with the chevelle sites discussion. The wheelie costs ET...it's physics. Now if a car can't transmit the power to the ground without transfering 100% of course a wheelie will help ET. I 60' in the 1.26 range with my truck. I have to adjust the ladder bars and shocks NOT to wheelie.
I could stand it on the bumper...but it would be slower and less consistant. I don't run a small tire though...I drag race. I'll put as big a tire as I need to hook up. I don't go for the flavor of the day 10.5 big money twin turbo'd Mustang crowd

You have big tires...means its not drag racing with small tires.... Gotcha.

Oops forgot to mention they are stock suspension.
But still stands they need wheels up. And im sure the superstock guys could keep it down if they wanted.

We are both saying there are some cases that the rule does not work. But over all, it is the case.

I fail to see where people are arguing that. Not ALL small tire cars need to have the wheels up to go fast. I know a NA 275 radial car that has been 8.9x with a 1.2x 60' without the wheels sky high.

Again I fail to see any closed minded people. We are saying there are exceptions to the rule, but they are far and few between.

You could go real old school. Cut open the top of your tailgate and drop some lead weights in, then weld it back up. Welcome to real grass roots racing.

I used a bunch of scrap flat steel I had in the shop

Gate weighs 125lbs.
