Re: Not your average 65 c-10 build
I was originally going to use the new generation 4.2L 6 cylinder and some other parts from the wrecked trailblazer but some issues came up at the auction and i didn't end up getting it. Now i am putting in a 5.3L out of an 04 silverado. I was pretty bummed, i really wanted the semi-nostalgia of a 6 cyl but i need to keep moving forward and i got the 5.3 really cheap.

Re: Not your average 65 c-10 build
Slow progress, still waiting on wheels. Got the new cowl section welded in. Once the camaro oil pan gets here i can mount the rengine/trans and start working on the firewall.

Re: Not your average 65 c-10 build
Finally got the wheels i have been waiting forever for, a set of 22x9 Centerline smoothies. Also got my camaro oil pan so got lots to do this week. Will be mounting the engine/trans, making a smooth firewall, and finishing the floor, then i can start building my new a-arms and the rest of the front suspension.

Re: Not your average 65 c-10 build
I almost wish I bought those rims! They look good on this body style! Are you going to go Delmo style with the caps? Stock caps would be sick! Keep it going!
