Cross that off the list. The 1050 produced little gains. I even wasted a bunch of perfectly good Holley HP bases. I tig'd them all together thus creating the world's largest throttle plate.

Check your timing...by my calculations 275 degrees of advance ought to do it. You may have to cut a hole in your firewall for the vacuum advance to fit.

Dang.....thought just crossed my mind that if I can't get this to work, I might as well scrap the "maxi-stack"......the world's tallest velocity stack. I was thinking how cool the maxi-stack would be on top of the mono-ram.

NO NO NO.....my motors can't run on distributors. I have two vertex mags being driven off a small sprocket in the rear of the block. I removed the cam softplug and engineered a drive system and a housing to support both mags.

Sorry....no pic available due to patents pending.

Maybe you need to cut those velocity stacks so that you can make the opening foreward? Maybe the "ram air" would help? It obviously can't help with your idle issues though

Re: EXTREMELY important information just released for ANYONE running a carb spacer!!!

its prob those 4 holes getting in your way u need to try the sv1 from pro systems that and remove the squirters and just duct tape the fuel line so it flushes like a toilet that should do the trick hahaha

Funny you mention Pro Systems. We are currently in litigation with them over the SV-1. They actually stole that concept from me. Below you can see my love assistant holding the SB-1 (single butterfly) prototype. Obvisouly....the first thing that catches your eye is the polished venturi for better direction of the air through the unit.

Actually, pro systems builds some bad to the bone stuff. I'll be interested in seeing if the single venturi really catches on and stays.

I dunno. I thought the size of the air cleaner and fuel line determined CFM. Maybe you need one of those vortex tornado maker thingies in there.

Well see I thought I read something about that. When using AN fittings, isn't -6 a 600 cfm, -8 and 800, -12 a 1200 and so on?

Judging by your assistants summer shirt, it must be pretty warm there. If I were you, I would consider installing an air conditioner and setting it on MAX COOL.

I'm afraid success with your intake is stacked against you. Maybe you could get some assistance from your assistant.

Re: EXTREMELY important information just released for ANYONE running a carb spacer!!!

man you got this set up all wrong the problem is your losing air velocity due to uneven angles on the spacers but luck has it that its a easy fix you need to wrap the inside in duct tape starting from the bottom and working up to increase the "tornado" effect but make sure you find some old school duct tape not that new crap

and last but not least take a buffing wheel down in there a few times cause remember ****lebuffout
