Re: Found another odd one with teaser pics.

dubds10, if a Minnesotan says it is rusty, it is rusty. Minnesota uses so much salt on the roads they dang near have to send the plow trucks out again to push the salt off. If Eric says it's bad, it's bad. I live 15 miles from the SD/MN border, and when looking at used cars we shy away from anything that has been owned in MN.

Re: Found another odd one with teaser pics.

First off, it is not for sale. I post pics of trucks and parts and such if i find or buy them just to share. I know i like looking at other peoples "finds". It just shows that there is still stuff out there if you look.
rsavage, Perhaps if you would have said, "nice find, if you decide to part it i would be interested in..." it would have came off sounding better.
BBrendal, thanks for the well wishes.
dubds10, trust me, it is rusty. I will try to add some more pics for you.
Liz, well said.
71swb4x4, you said it. I would think minnesota would be in the top 5 or so for rust issues.

Eric, nice find. Atleast the buckets were still in it.

Re: Found another odd one with teaser pics.

I can also vouch for the Minnesota body rot. My grandmother bought a car from over in MN. She moved to Florida and the car went with. She had work done on it at a shop and the owner asked her if the car had been sitting in salt water, it was that rusty underneath. This old gal may look complete, but if you look under it you will probably be looking up at the sky in many places. It's unfortunate, but that's how it is.

That is a pretty nice find. You don't see too many early Blazers pop up very often. I really like the fact it has a 4-speed.

Re: Found another odd one with teaser pics.

As much as I'm a rookie to this site I've only seen one in person that I remember. A parts guy at the Acura dealership beside us had one. Him and his dad were all about some 67-72s. His was in the same condition as this one. He dropped it, put the lid in the garage and rocked the mess outta that thing. Everytime he brought that thing to work I would just stand in droolin' awe as he passed by! Get that shabby thing in workin order and rock it!! Rivets and all!! Ppl have said it and I'm sayin it. It doesnt look bad on my laptop so its gotta be a 30 footer. Minus the rivets and torn seats is it a plausible notion that it is in enough working order if you put a motor in it and sort out enough stuff to take some pics of you doin donuts for us?

Re: Found another odd one with teaser pics.

Told you it is rusty!
There is some rust in the windshield frame also, but the frame and trailing arms look pretty good!

Bud, you better get a tetanus shot if you haven't lately. It's rusty.
