Of course. Rubber, plastic, clamps, they can break. Just be as carefull as you can, if it breaks it was probably weak anyway.

Just connect the 2 lines from the right tank to the 2 lines from the motor, once you do that you dont have to cap anything. The valve and left tank will be rendered usles at that point.

If your truck starts, your selector valve is bad or the switch in the cab is bad.
Selector valve is$99 at LMC and cab switch is $15.

okay, thanks alot for all of your help man, im going to go to sleep now, but I will connect these tto after I buy some hose tomorrow and let you know how it turns out.

No problem, just get a new selector valve and get a new cab switch for good measure, then you can use both tanks again.
