nice and straight, has some surface rust in places- mainly because it doesnt have alot of paint on it. very solid.

Is there any rust dust or particles that fall out or rattle around when you rotate the gate? Sorry for the questions but for this price I need to be careful.

Also I've had bad luck with UPS and big/heavy stuff. Can you check what fedex and usps parcel post would be? (may be too large for parcel post but maybe not, I think its like 92" inches or something (length + width + height) for their max. Leddzep had in one post that fedex would be 60 or so for any tailgate.

just went out and shook the crap out of it. nothing came out and nothing rattling around.(what you see on the floor is just dirt from the trunion hole). fed ex was 2 cheaper on shipping. i shipped a grille to cali via ups and it was fine. usps says 70lbs max.

i will also write do not lay flat and do not stack on this box.

Vintage Windmills-- if you want i could do $450 plus that chrome chevy horn button you had from the 67 cst. was thinking about it seeing i`m switching to chevy body. might as well switch that too. let me know. thanks. kevin

as far as the shipping yes the bare tailgate (55lbs) would be around 55 its adding the 30 or so pounds of plywood and 2*4s to protect it that add to the shipping cost. you wont be disappointed in this gate.

boxed up ready to go. actually weighs 96 pounds with the box. i made it so the 2*4`s are right next to it and the thickness is near perfect. it cant move around in there. i wrote do not stack and do not lay flat on it. also handle with care. labeled the one side this side up to keep it on its side so no risk of setting anything on it. i also wrote open this side so you open it like shown- gmc side out.

1. 67 gmc grille with headlight bezels. this is a painted grille. nice condition. good be chromed if wanted. $175
2. 67 gmc core support with 4 bulb setup. will include spare 4 buckets and trim rings. has the usual bad spot under battery. easy fix for someone wanting original stuff. also has 4 new bulbs installed. $100
3. 67-68 chevy/gmc hood. really nice condition. $60 has 1 hole in it see pics below.
5. 67 8 foot fleetside bed sides. outside is in good condition inside lip needs some work. $150 drivers $125 pass or $250 for the set pass side has 2 small rust holes behind the wheel well drivers looked good.
6. steel floor header panel. really straight. $80 couple of the bolt holes were cut to get bolts out(not by me). still nice panel
7. cowl panel $25

in need of inner fenders or a soft tonneau cover if anyones interested in trading for something.

does the grill have any dents, dings or rust? Is the hood to grill filler peice in good condition? Best price shipped to 66762 for the grill, headlight bezels and the gill to hood filler peice.

the upper bar has 1 spot of rust on it(missing alittle) but it is behind the hood bumper on the mount piece to the fender. not bad at all. 1 of the bezels has 2 small pin holes. the grille itself is in good shape. no dents on it. does have light rust on the back of it. i will include the top bar with it for the price i have because of the rust on it. shipping would run you $158.54. thats for a package weighing 20lbs at 80*20*12 in size. thats having them box it which was another $15. so that would be $340 total- i will do $325 to you(i will cover the cost of the 3 boxes and materials at ups). that will be fully insured for 325. I just shipped another grille to cali for alittle more and thats how i shipped it and it made it there safely. if you want anymore pics let me know.

Awesome. nice to know ups can do there job carefully. that was one heavy package. that`s why i packed it so tight in the box-expecting the worse handler they have. glad you like it. gave me some $$ for goodies at the syracuse nationals the last few days. awesome show btw. will post a thread with pics soon.

price drop on items. will trade for inner fenders, rear bed tubs, soft tonneau cover, drop springs(looking for 2" front 6" rear and adjustable panhard bar, drop shocks, blazer tank setup for rear tank(poly) or I6 upgrades(offenhauser intake setup, headers). need to move this stuff(its sitting at my work, need to get it out of there).

Best price shipped for the gill only. I'd like to have it all, but I just can't justify the price. Shipping is a killer. Can you post some more pics of it to verify condition?

yah shipping large items stinks. i tried greyhound for a qoute, but it was more on the 2 items i tried. just the grille alone wont change the shipping cost. on large items it goes by billable weight(90 pounds is what they bill for). i could do $300 shipped on it(thats the best i can do when shipping it). if still interested i can get some pics(just let me know what to take).
