Still have one running fine in the 1969 GMC 3 ton. You won't lay rubber, but they are tough and last for ever. Strictly a truck engine.
The old girl does sound pretty cool though, dual exhaust just behind the cab with a nice lumpy idle. There have been a few times when I am sitting behind the tire shop with it and guys have poked their heads around the corner thinking there must be a mean 396 in a car to match! |
