Re: 1970 Longhorn CST What would be a fair price for this?
I think you'd have to offer him 800/1000 to get it.. If you pay that and get 3/4 of your money back selling some of the parts and are able to keep a bunch of parts for yourself thats a great deal.

I'm going to try for that and see how it goes. He doesn't have the original engine or pullies and brackets. That's probably $500 worth of stuff right there. Let alone the other good optioned stuff it's missing. That's not his issue though, it's mine. Haha

1K, chump change compared to what will be needed in man hours. But if you take on the project, you should definitely keep it a C; especially if you're buying it for that SPID.

You'd probably cry if I told you how many hours I have in my 72, and it isn't finished. Hours don't mean much to me since it will be my truck. It may end up being a kiddos truck some day too. You never know.

I hear ya, I spent so much time and bucks and just scratched the surface. I like your diesel. I'll tell you something funny. I used to watch that walking dead show, I stopped watching, I just tired of it.. anyhow, in the show they would get in a gas vehicle and start it up, after it had been sitting for years, it really pissed me off. TV is generally stupid but that drove me crazy. Diesel 4x4 = true armageddon!
