GM light blue: solid colored trucks #507; Two-toned #537 - DuPont (Acrylic Lacquer) 4537-L - Rinshed-Mason (Acrylic Lacquer) A-1686 - Ditzler (Enanel) DQE-12846 GM White #521 - Dupont 817-L - Rinshed-Mason A-1347 - Ditzler DQE-8080 Those are three paint suppliers that GM used at that time. So if you decided you want to use the Dupont brand, tell the paint jobber that you want 4537-L for the light blue and 817-L for the white. They need those numbers to mix your paint correctly. Re: Let's see the white-nosed 67's and 68's
This is just what I wanted to see. They just look good no matter what color the rest of the truck is. I'm 83% convinced-better see a few more just to make sure!

Looks nice without the turn signals. Did you set them back in the grill ? or gone completely.

Re: Let's see the white-nosed 67's and 68's
Gone completely, I had an extra grille and used the black top insert so there wasn't any mounting dimples.
Used the AutoLoc headlights with built in signals, they worked ok. There's some LED ones out there that I'd try if I were to do it again.

Re: Let's see the white-nosed 67's and 68's
Can anyone tell me what would have been the deciding factor for a white top being either the entire top or just above the drip rail?

Re: Let's see the white-nosed 67's and 68's
Heres mine and it was painted 507 blue all the way up to the drip rails from factory and the nose painted the same with white trim. and the interior 506 blue. Was it more common for a white nose or same color,

Re: Let's see the white-nosed 67's and 68's
I'm noticing some have the inside of the slots also painted white, some are black such as mine. I also noticed the headlight trim on some have dips for the adjuster screws, mine does not and wondered if the trim has to be removed to adjust the headlights (yea there must be a specific topic somewhere).

Re: Let's see the white-nosed 67's and 68's
1967 was roof only, above the drip rail, and 1968 covered the entire roof including the A pillars...Please, no applause, I’m no genius, I learned that here on this site...

Re: Let's see the white-nosed 67's and 68's
It kind of loses the “pop” when the truck is also white...
