Just something to ponder on...
Yikes $500 a wheel for 20s

Re: Poll: Wheels

Thanks for all of the suggestions, but I am very particular. I've been browsing through hundreds of wheels the last few months, and while 225s arent my first choice, they are the my faves in my price range.

If I were going to spend $500+ per wheel I'd go with Budnik.

Going to order them next week. We'll see how the real deal compares to my photoart.

Cheers~

Re: Poll: Wheels

225's out of those two choices, but if it were me doing it, I'd find some bigger Torque Thrusts for it. I love classic designs I guess.

HUBCAPS on STEELIES:

Seriously, though...

1. There is not a big enough difference between those two styles to justify the huge expense
2. Both have been done before, especially the 225 style...
3. If you're going to spend the cash, change it up; try CCW Wheels. Maybe a set of CCW 505As or Classics? How about BBS wheels?
4. Or just leave it as is; your truck looks awesome

Polishing wheels bites. Seriously think about getting them powder coated clear if you can.

Re: Poll: Wheels

KMK, checked out your suggestions. I'm not a fan of spokey wheels and I think they just look wrong on a big ol' square body. I'm definitely into the classic/traditional w/ modern twist thing. Thanks though

That's cool. Well you can't go wrong with classic fivespokes.

Here's a bonspeed wheel that's nice:

Some more cool wheel choices in here:

Re: Poll: Wheels

Bonspeed are cool but WAY out of my budget. I like a few Bozes too, but they quoted me $3000 just for the wheels.

I'm voting for the 225s, but they are getting fairly common. Personally that doesn't bother me. In fact, I will be ordering mine for my black short fleet sometime this week.

Keep the 212s and spend the money on other parts.

It's all about the datails. Not much of a difference, but enough. I think it looks much better now...

Re: Poll: Wheels

looks great but it would better with stock tail lights and side marker lights, you could send the clear ones to 75181

Looks way better, the 212s were a dated design. Good choice, Now add a stock grille to the truck!
