The canopy is a tough truck canopy, not your average camper made of aluminum and wood.
This sucker is built tough, which is one reason I am torn about keeping it. The camper maker is still around, and is sought after by off roaders since it is made of steal. http://callencamper.com/ The PO paid just over 2k for this camper in 2002.
