nice score. Once you start adding your touches to it post up more pics. That will give you time to get the camera cleaned or fixed

Re: Gotta have a C-10... Help
Ummm me either unless I happen to pass through advance auto or someplace like that. The good news is under the cover though. The seats are in really nice condition less the 5 dollar covers... A decent bench seat came with her as well so I'm not sure which way to go really. I have lots to worry with before the seats become an issue.

Re: Gotta have a C-10... Help
I know where there is a 72 short wide bed, one owner, around 100k miles, pretty darn straight truck, there is some rust in the rockers but I checked under the dash and from I could see under the dash all looked good, could not get under the hood to look at it there, I know you will have to do some rewiring, the guy's son got a hold to it but it looked like a new wiring harness under the dash, he is asking $2,000. This would definitely be worth considering. If you are really interested I can go take some pics and post them for you. Bring a car trailer and get that baby home.

Re: Gotta have a C-10... Help
Found a 72 short step side today in Conley GA. Straight 6, 3 on the tree, wood bed, green in color, daily driver. Seller is asking for $4000. Great project truck will not require a lot of body work, but needs new wood in bed. Pm me for his number.

I know exactly where you are. I grew up on the lake over on the Orange county end. I've been dabbling in these ol' chevys for the past 30 years. If youre new to this scene, I would suggest Bill Athey,of Athey's truck parts up in Front Royal, for most any new or used part you might need.Been dealing with him for years, super guy, plus he's a board vendor member on here. Its nice to know that there's someone so close on here. If you ever need any anything let me know ! |
