Re: If your truck could talk

Mine would say, Dude wtf am I ? A blazer, a truck? Then I would end up with a neurotic talking truck with an idenity crisis. Every time I'd go out to the garage there it would be, like having Mr ED. What a PITA that would be. Glad it cant talk.

Truck would say "I love all the upgrades but I am tired of being put togehter then taken apart plus I hate sitting in the garage with no suspension "...

Mine would say:

"Are you ever going to fix me? I have been sitting for what, 5..6 years now? Is THIS finally the year I get dragged out of the field? Didn't think so.."

Embarrassing actually.

Lol - around here, the variation we use is "...do these dual wheels make my butt look big?"

Mine would say thank you for saving me from the crusher! But it might call me bad names because i put a 7.6' meyers snowplow on her. Actually i think she does talk. When i get called out at 2:30 in the morning to go and plow somebody out she goes "Uhhh" and stalls out! It spudders and stalls whenever its under 55 degrees hahaha.

Re: If your truck could talk

"holy crap, you're an a$$hat. I spent the first 30 years of my life with a kind gentle old man. then you came along and revived me with a bigger engine, auto tranny, totally new suspension and better brakes and made me feel all better. if I had known your intention was to beat the tar out of me I would have ran away. you use me to lug 5400 lbs. of iron to the scrappers, drag a 67 1 ton dually back from Des Moines and countless other acts of cruelty. the only joy I got was the occasional run against a Porsche Cayenne leaving him in the dust. now you leave me sitting in a lonely lot half done for 2 years waiting for your oldest boy to pick up where you left off. you're an a$$hat"

Re: If your truck could talk

My 69 would say "bring it" P90X style. Its like it went from being the fat kid in school that everyone made fun of (3/4T LWB) to the cool kid that everyone wants to be friends with (1/2T SWB with 67 front clip on 20s) [this message not intended to offend fat kids...cause I was one too]

Re: If your truck could talk

If I turn up the volume on my inner child and imagine what my truck might say or do I'd say it has probably cried a couple of times happy that its outta the woods and running strong. I picture it like an old retired hunting dog that was let out of the pen and into the house. It gets a bath, goes to cruises and is cleaned, fawned over and loved on. Its at the dealership right now lowered, with a new look and a pile of new parts sitting in a shop with some nice cars. If it could have a sense of self awareness, its gotta be happy right now.
