Re: Check out my new rims.

[QUOTE=StrokinRat;4975572]I'm sure you guys don't have this problem. You know when you have a little extra money laying around and you spend countless hours/days dreaming about all the things you can buy for you truck? In my case it was a set of new rims. But apparently my wife had also been thinking of things she could spend the money on. In her case a new dining room table. And since I like seeing my 18month old son more than every other weekend and really want to spend more than 3 months in my new house I decided it was for the best to let my wife get the table. Hey what can I say, You win some and you lose some. Anybody else have to sacrifice on things for your truck to keep peace in your house?

I weep for your losses sir

I guess I don't feel so bad spending 4k on mine after reading this.

Yeah, I just blew my new wheel fund on a kitchen full of stainless appliances.

I have been happily married for 34 years to a beautiful lady that endures a LOT from me. I treat her like a spoiled domestic Goddess, and reap the rewards in return. Call that sucker if you like, but I prefer happily married.

I agree... happily married! I just reached the 15 year mark of marriage to my wife. Sure you have to sacrifice sometimes, but that's what its all about..right? Give and take... My wife always has the new ride, and I get to blow money on my two toys ('79 GMC / '98 Jeep TJ). Everybody's happy!... yep, guess I'm a sucker.

Haven't been single for a long time now, though I haven't made the mistake of getting married either. My girl buys the stuff she wants for her rig and I take care of my K20.

Re: Check out my new rims.

I travel alot for work and all I think about while I'm on the road is getting home and being at the house and staying home --- I don't even like leaving to go to the store.

My wife loves vacations and she is constanting planning our next one.

So to keep peace in the house you will find me bored out of my mind (but happy to spend time with her) on mini (2 or 3 days) vacations with my wife in mainly places I would really never want to go to on my own....but she rarely questions when truck parts show up in the garage.

;-) I guess I'm a sucker too!
