I bought the cab finshed from bowtiefreak in classifieds on this site. The color is toyota tundra speedway blue. I hate the word toyota in the color but really looks good!

Re: 1970 3/4 step side puller build (blue blood)
Yes i will be street driving truck, can not see building just for pulling track even know it would be more competive in some ways. 12 to 1 480 cube big block should be fun to drive on street, Will have to blend race fuel so do not want to drive to much. No i do not want to sell glove box door. Thanks for intrest.

Re: 1970 3/4 step side puller build (blue blood)
Well its been almost 3 years and I pulled my 70 chev back out of storage and going to start stage 2 of my build. I am changing my build at little with more interest in street driving my truck then truck pulling. I brought truck to body shop to start fitting sheet metal. Really feels good to see old girl with some sheet metal hanging on her again!

Re: 1970 3/4 step side puller build (blue blood)
Box is not mounted in picture. Just getting it ready to fit. The 3 inch body lift looks pretty good IMO. 16.5x10 wheels have more offset then I like though. See how it looks when all put together.........

Re: 1970 3/4 step side puller build (blue blood)
Order a fuel tank that will fit in the very front of the box. I have no room under truck for fuel tank because of traction bars and frame mods so thought polished round tank would look nice in box. Has fuel sump and half inch fuel line outlets so she will get plenty of fuel! Also built in fuel gauge.

Re: 1970 3/4 step side puller build (blue blood)
Valders Auto Body has all sheet metal fit on truck. They needed to shim cab mounts to get all body lines straight. They also disassembled the bed and sent to get blasted. now they will disassemble the truck and finish body work.

Re: 1970 3/4 step side puller build (blue blood)
I have some updates. The body shop that had truck has the box blasted primed and ready for paint and doors fenders ect closer to being ready to paint. It has been a really slow process (paint prison) so I pulled the truck to put motor in and run wiring ect
