See all that rust on the water side of the old plug?

That is why I coat that surface with Permatex.... adds another barrier before the coolant gets to the brass.

Ahhh.. that would have been a good idea... I saw where you said "all surfaces" but it didn't sink in that you meant the backside of the plug too. Well, considering these looked like the original plugs, I'm hoping that I won't have to replace this one again in my lifetime.
