Just saw this post. A couple of questions on the fan shroud piece. Would this and a V-8 shroud work with a 250 6 cylinder engine. I am going to put A/C on my 66 and want to use a shroud, since a 6 didn't come with a shroud I thought of using a V-8 shroud.

Steve, the two shroud panels came off a truck that had a V8 in it, and the '65 I restored that had a 292 also had the same panels. I'm not sure but a 250 may have used a smaller radiator and the shrouds may have been different. Hopefully someone will see this and post a better answer.

I would love to put a 292 in my truck. Save the 283 I have thought of putting in the 66 for my 65 burb.

Steve, I looked at a truck this past weekend that had a smaller radiator in it, and the shrouds were alot different than the ones I'm selling, mine wouldn't work with the smaller radiator. Hope this helps. Have you got to try out the H4's yet?
