Re: New to the forum..looking for some opinions/advice
lol.. ironically someone said the same thing when i bought my first Porsche.. and they were totally right.. of course I'm selling it now as I wanted a different look and challenge... This is going to be fun.. Expect tons of questions and yes, pictures i will take/show.
I have too many plans already and won't take poossesion of the truck until next Spring as he's storing it for me (I have no room.. or at least until the Porsche disappears) Seriously.. a big thanks to everyone, and I'm happy to be part of the group. Steve, I would have said yes to the '57, but I HATED the black on blue/white, I don't like automatics, and the smashed headers got me thinking as to what else they may have done.. Good choice on the white one !!
I liked that one. Make it safe, comfortable, and dependable, and use it up, by that time when it is all used up you will have some ideas as what to fix, or replace.

I don't know what age you are; I'm turning 57 tomorrow and in my day that was the absolute "no-compromises-I'm-faster-than-you-are" car. I'd LOVE to have it...but no, can't get back into P cars, just dreaming. |

When I worked in California at bugg builders on Santa Monica blvd in the 80's my friend and boss had a 930 turbo in red. He would let me take it for the odd drive or when I had family visiting. That thing would go! Get into it in 2nd and when the turbo kicked in it sat you back.
