It all came from an 80's truck is all I know. It was already installed when I bought it.

if you don't mind me asking, how much did the old power plant bring
when sold? I've got a combo very similar right now, and had no
idea what it's worth.

Coil springs with 15x12 weld wheels. I think the back spacing is 5.5 inches. The tires are 15-18-29

I have a set of rallies the same size if anyone is interested...

You install headers or stock exhaust manifolds?

Very nice setup!

The one I sold was a stock bore 400CI with forged pistons, steel crank, H beam rods and etc. It also had World products heads and a Quick Fuel 850 sitting on top of it. I included a 2 month old 700R4 that had all billit internals and etc.. It was a great setup and would turn over these 18" wide tires very easy... I gave the guy a ride in the truck and all he said was "I'll take it!" He wrote me a check for $2,900 and both of us were happy..

LOOKIN` GOOD!
I used the docs blocks on my swap, it saves alot of money and keeps the compresser out of sight.

I just looked at your pictures.. Yours looks great! Do you remember the part number of the Doc's block you ordered? Seems like yours has the 1 bolt in the center. I have that compressor and a smaller one from a 6.0 with 2 bolts (That hold the block to the compressor).

Re: 5.3 swap with a few pictures...

found an order confirmation:
--------------------------
Product ID: AA2209
Product Name: GM 5.3L Compressor Block - Suction side
Quantity: 1
Unit Price: $19.47
--------------------------
Product ID: AA2210
Product Name: GM 5.3L Compressor Block - Discharge side
Quantity: 1
Unit Price: $25.97

Not sure on your compressor, but i used the wrong "washer/seal" at first. I didn`t realize it wasn`t the right one until it couldn`t pull a vacuum in the system.
