Well if it helps you out Nate, I can shoot you pics via email if you like.
Do you remember exactly what it is you wanted to see? |

Re: Here's mine
I'll PM you my email and I'll upload whatever pics you have to this thread as it was a great reference for those of us considering an LS install, not to mention a 6.0.

Re: Here's mine
That's cool. I'll read through it again and see if I can figure out what pics I had in here. I know the cross member issue was one of them.

Re: Here's mine
Nate was kind enough to offer some help. Since I think I've figured out how to link directly to the site without photobucket, I should be able to attach all the pics.
My only issue right now is that the pics are on a thumb drive, and I'm having a little difficulty using the browser below to find my thumbdrive. The pic I attached directly here earlier was from the C drive off the computer. If I can figure that out, and get the thumb drive attachments to work, I can add the pics to the appropriate descriptions....I need a little time, to pull what little hair out I have left ![]() |

![]() There are in no specific order, and I think I forgot to forward an email so I'm short possibly 4 or 5 pics.

Any time.
Like I said... I might have missed an email but if so, I'll add those pics tomorrow. Beautiful project and what a great blazer to start with. ![]()

Re: Here's mine
Well, I was going to try and edit some of those posts and add some pics, but it seems the "edit post" option isn't there.
Does that go away after so long? Edit: Well it must, because this post I just posted says "edit" but the others don't. |

Re: Here's mine
#1) Not sure what pics I put in there..
#10) in order from top to bottom... Shot of engine compartment completely empty 3 pics of the oil and temperature sending unit showing the tap/die etc.. Engine picture with crossmember attached Engine bay with cross member sitting in the frame and trans installed #11) Shot of custom engine harness Another engine bay pic with engine installed showing battery moved and fabbing up things. #14) Shot of engine in truck nearly complete showing the upper hose discussing the steam line A side shot showing the sanden compressor and brackets from Qwik Performance. That's pretty much the important stuff. |

Re: Here's mine
[QUOTE=Firebirdjones; What do you want to see?[/QUOTE]
1.) How/where your harness is mounted, 2.) Close-up of the steam line connection you made. Thanks |

Re: Here's mine
I'll look and see if I have pics of those. If not, I know I can take one of the steam line easy enough.
As for the harness, it's hidden behind the engine. I mounted the computer under the dash near the glove box and the main portion of the harness goes through the transmission tunnel (firewall) area, it's up high, comes out at about where the transmission meets the block behind the passenger side cylinder head. The rest of the harness for the drive by wire throttle and cruise control, as well as the circuit breakers and fuse panel is simply hidden under the dash. Give me a little time and I'll get something up. |

Re: Here's mine
Here ya go Conman. Sorry for the delay. I searched around and couldn't find a decent shot of it so I just went out and snapped one. Would have just been quicker that way to start with

Re: Here's mine
I'll have the blazer up on the rack Monday for some new mufflers, I'll see if I can snap a picture from the bottom side up of the wire harness coming through the firewall.
I can't see it from the top (with the hood on) can't get my fat head back there. Not even sure you can see it from the bottom, but I'll try. |
