Re: quartz clock inner tin
I do not know of any threads on installing them. I have templates made up through trial and error where to drill all holes. The hardest part the hole in the inner tin and I use a hole saw in a drill press to do the outer back plate that holds the oil gauge. Once the clock is set in place I use 100% silicone to set it in place. I know this is just a rough idea how to do it

Re: quartz clock inner tin
I always take the clock apart and weld the outter piece to the oil pressure mount part, then put the clock back together. They are only held together with 3 little bent over tabs. I also change the newer quartz clock faces with the older '73-'77 faces that I think matches the original gauges a little better, but you have to turn the clock because the set knob is in a different location, but a little drilling and some epoxy it's fairly easy. Hopes this helps.

Re: quartz clock inner tin
I would be interested in a tin with tach, clock hole and clock? What would be the total cost for something like that?
