I cut this from the original image and played with it on photo deluxe.

The original was a digital picture I took of Jerry Moss's daily driver and posted it on the thread below per Jerry's request. I then worked on it with photo deluxe, without Jerry's permission ,
to come up with that image. The original picture had a camper shell.

Hopefully the link below works if not search for:
Jerry Moss's daily driver.

so you are actually the creator of the image. it is just Jerry Moss's truck. Well who is Jerry moss and how can I get ahold of him to get permission to use it.
Thanks
Darren

Very nice, you should see what a hard top bed cover would look like at the same color orange. Maybe a hard single stripe down the center instead of the black top. Just a thougt.

Glad to see someone else can use that picture.

Darren...I'll talk to Jerry about the image so he'll know what you are talking about when you ask him. Do we get some transfers if he agrees

70 Pick up...What exactly could illustrator do? Was your outline made from scratch? And thanks for sharing the sketch.

I just learned one more thing from my son on photo deluxe. How do young teens learn this without any help

I have the original file in illustrator format if you want to take a look at it. Every single line was just drawn in.

I got the picture of the front from a magazine or something like that. I brought it into illustrator and traced the front of the truck. For the rear I did a long bed, because that is all that I could find at the same angle. Then I just drew. Illustrator doesn't do much more, it is just a vector graphical program...vector graphics are just squares, polygons, etc.. They are just smaller in size, you need a real program in order change the color, and add lighting effects.

If you look closely there isn't a gas filler behind the drivers door, that is becuase my truck doesn't have one.

And there aren't any side marker liights, or front turn signals. I was going to put a billet grill on there, just haven't gotten to it.

I did this about a year ago with Illustrator. It is one of the most powerful tools in the hands of the right people.
