If your oil smells like gas and is two quarts overfull you probably have a fuelpump out pumping gas into the oil. Change the pump and change the oil and filter before you ruin your engine. If it has gas in the oil it could also be letting the lifters bleed down, causing it to run bad.

Ok did the oil change fuel pump checked out not leaking however I also replaced the distributor and it was an hei. I am getting perfect spark and timing however no firing any more. at all.time to pull the front off and check the timing chain?
