Re: Project Charlie Boy

Been awhile so time for an update. Been working on wiring, installing fat mat, vintage air, and the lsx power plant. I hope to have everything finished and be ready for final paint in a month...... hope to be complete by christmas.

Re: Project Charlie Boy

The hinges are porter built.... They were easy to install and look great. They do limit the amount the hood opens over stock however...

Re: Project Charlie Boy

Was unable to get her done by Christmas, work has been soooo crazy that I have not had time to work on her much. I have everything sorted out with the truck and she runs great! I have decided to install power windows, I received my Nurics Kit from American Pastimes Last week. Took the truck out of the garage for some exhaust work today. I am using dyna max VT mufflers, they are suppose to give less drone at low RPM but sound great at WOT.. we will see. Snapped a few pics today before loading her up.

Re: Project Charlie Boy

Update: Paint and assembly are done! I am pleased with how it turned out, a few places to address after the interior is completed. I will get some better pics when I get her home.

Re: Project Charlie Boy

Ride height / wheels look great together, and grill inserts with the black paint. I also did the black bowtie in front, I think it looks alot better than the red or blue option.

Re: Project Charlie Boy

Took some pics when I picked up the truck at the interior shop. I am really happy with the way it turned out. Went to alignment shope today snapped a couple outside while waiting. Only a few bugs to work out and she will be 100%

Re: Project Charlie Boy

Do you mind sharing what kind of seats those are? I think they fit the truck extremely nice. Are they late model factory ones you customized? Either way look awesome.
