Re: My Blue 67
Anyone know if they make sections of new roof panels or do I need to buy a complete panel or find a original section to cut the piece out I need.

Re: My Blue 67
yikes. Priced a new roof skin today. They Wanted $200 looks like I'll be looking for chunk of original roof skin to patch the bad spot above the door.

Re: My Blue 67
Got a little more done today. Got the drivers side kick panel ready for primer and welded in the patch panel on the passenger side and got it ready for primer. I'm going to fix a couple pin holes on the floor prime paint and line X the floor when I get off work on Sunday. Should be able to start working on it more real soon. I just found another Daily driver. It's a rust free 67 C20 with 98K original miles 283 with 3 speed manual tranny.

Re: My Blue 67
More progress on the rust repair. Not much but at least it's something. Got the inner kick panels primed and made a patch panel for the rain gutter. Just need to trim the vertical part of it to fit. I'll get that welded in sometime next week when my welder buddy is feeling better. Will be able to work on it a little more when I get my new DD driver next month. it's a low mileage c20 with not a speck of rust 283 v8 with 3 on the tree and the nicest all original interior I've ever seen.

Rex if you find any surprises I made a bunch of extra patch pieces for the rain gutter. I'm going to finish cleaning the floor and get the bed liner sprayed on it this weekend.

Re: My Blue 67
What?! You don't want to invest hours/days into shortening your bed? Let alone the stress, blood, swearing and...well, ok. Get some new sides. Let's do this! Russell has a few people looking at his S10 project so maybe I'll have some garage space soon. With the bed sides we can get that done prior and make it a one day project. I worked on my drip rails last night. I hope to have them all cleaned out this weekend. I am going to weld up my cab seams too. I'll need some help pulling my doors and glass soon so I can get at all the seams. hint, hint...

Re: My Blue 67
Ok time to dust the build thread off again. Just changed job's again and will be working some overtime so I'll have a little extra $$ to send on the truck. Just picked these up of of someone on the NW C10's Facebook page for a really good price. 2" Bell tec lowered front springs and 4" lowered Mcnaughties rear springs. Will be putting those in as soon as I get some lowered front spindles or dropped lowered control arms haven't decided yet and would like to hear the pro's and con's of both. Also need to get rear shock Re locateres. Adjustable track bar shocks and pinion angle shim's.
