I think they are. I've had both pictures saved a long time. But,I know the blue one was in that area because I was going to go look at it,but it got sold right away. I guess the Hiway 724 sign gives it away, too, huh? Not sure where I grabbed the silver one from, but I see the area code is from around there.

Re: Dump Truck Picture Thread

I saw that coming. The tailgate didn't open, but I thought the problem was going to be a clumpy load that didn't slide under the gate. That sure is a great old dump truck, though. I hope it survived ok.

Re: Dump Truck Picture Thread

Looks like an F-8, either a '51 or '52. Rare tandem truck. I hope it survived too.

It's strange as you can clearly see he initially forgot to drop down the lever, but after the hesitation in the video, you can see it down. Still didn't open for some reason. Glad to see it didn't fall on it's side.

Re: Dump Truck Picture Thread

There was a c40 on C-list several months ago with a decent paint job and a 6 cyl . Is that the same truck I thought it was up around Clinton? Maybe this is a resale type thing if it is close to you, I talked to the guy about it and was really interested, but the 6 thing slowed my interest

Nice looking wuzzadump. I see it still has the pivot mounts. Either the body & hoist was nice enough to mount on another (newer?) truck or the one who bought it had other plans. Anyway, too bad it's not still a dump.

That has great potential. I had thought about setting one up like that for my remodeling business. But,it would suck to have all your tools tumbling around every time you dumped a load. Certainly couldn't keep bin trays stocked with small tools.

Re: Dump Truck Picture Thread

Two nice Dumps, Tim. You're right, they are '67's, but also could be '66's. Strange there is no Cab Lights again on the white GMC. Could be a very early factory picture. By the emblem it looks like it has a Toro-Flow V-6 Diesel.

This one doesn't dump by itself, but I think it counts! These were taken in September '76. It's a '69 model.
