Re: project "GOT BORED" 1988 1500 sportside
Right now, i just have a cheap tire compressor. Cheapest one Walmart had. I'm running manual valves, 1/4" line, with DOT compression fittings.
This is temporary for the front. When i install the rear, I'm gonna put the valves into the driver side door panel. This is some of the junk waiting to go into the rear. |

Re: project "GOT BORED" 1988 1500 sportside
Forgot to say i have a 9 port 5gl tank behind the seat. It will get installed under the bed. I kinda jumped the gun on the install. I wanted to see it dropped. I should have just waited till i had all the parts. All this temporary install sure makes a weak looking build thread.

Sounds good. I haven't been over to that area in a while. When i get this truck road ready, i'll have to ride over that way.

Re: project "GOT BORED" 1988 1500 sportside
Airlift Donimator 2600lb
I bought this http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=442745 and added paddle valves, gauges and fittings. I also changed it from rear brackets to a tank. So, just to summarize, I bought 4 bags,ft brackets, paddle valves, gauges, fittings, tank, and airline(50ft). I spent $617 shipped to my door. Later i had to get a few more fittings and grommets( to run airline into cab). I still need rear brackets, more airline(another 50ft), step notch and shock brackets to finnish the rear(and a link set up if i don't run leaf springs). |

Re: project "GOT BORED" 1988 1500 sportside
Well it was a little hot today but I managed to get some work done on my notch. Pulled the bed. Then removed shackle and shock bolts so I could raise the rear end to mark everything. Also cut the metal for the notch. I know it doesn’t look or sound like much but it takes a while when your working alone.
