I have never seen a truck build sheet before, let alone one for the Fleet option. That with the matching number truck could be valuable to the right collector. I found the original for my 64 chevelle under the back set in the springs.

That's kinda what I was thinking too. With 59k on the odometer and all the right parts and documentation I feel a little obligated to restore the truck. One thing is for sure, it will be cheaper that way.

Sweet truck, good luck with it. It's funny how these things are supposed to be so rare, and today I saw one with a flat bed sitting in a fenced in lot behind a garage less than 2mi from my house Here's a recent pic, last week I had the stock wheels sand blasted, repainted them, changed the center caps, and threw some new tires on it. I think it looks better

BTW, the guy I bought it from called and said he found the orginal build sheet so I went and picked that up this morning. It was cool to see that such an old document survived. He said it was stuck to the original gas tank when he swapped it out. After looking on this order, it was entered for build on her birthday Looks like the "FLT" marks the fleet package, and this confirms that the heater was factory and not added on later. Also looks like the black is the original color as well.

You have a rare documented truck with the 270. I'd do a complete resto to stock . It would be worth more that way. paperwork back to the build is very rare. It would add $$$ to the value.

I have all of the Documents for my '59, but this build sheet.It wasn't on the back of the truck, I guess it went poof in the air

wow like already said that build sheet is real cool and neat to see. I like how they put the check marks next to the items...Guess that was part of the quality control. neat to see.
